Apple announced AppleCare One Family on Wednesday, a $49.99-a-month subscription that covers every eligible Apple device owned by up to six people in a Family Sharing group.
The plan launches in the U.S. on Sept. 14 and includes the same protections as AppleCare+: unlimited repairs for accidental damage, battery service and round-the-clock support from Apple experts, plus theft and loss coverage for iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. Service fees and deductibles may apply.
