Has Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 3 been announced yet?
There’s nothing to report on a season 3 renewal, but that doesn’t mean Apple’s slice of the Monsterverse could end with this season’s final chapter.
Indeed, the tech giant has already confirmed a spin-off starring Wyatt Russell’s Lee Shaw is in active development. The untitled offshoot, which will be set during the Cold War, is being written and executively produced by Joby Harold, one of the creative minds behind Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
There’s no word on when filming might begin, what its story will entail, or when it’ll be released. Nonetheless, with this project due to air at some point, the Monsterverse will continue on the small screen even if Monarch season 3 isn’t greenlit.
