What time will Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s official trailer come out?
There’s no official word on what time Spider-Man 4‘s new trailer will be released — but, thanks to a fan event taking place later today, we have an idea of when it might drop.
Indeed, a listing on the Pathé Netherlands Cinemas website has revealed that a Spider-Man: Brand New Day Global Fan Event is set to take place in its capital city Amsterdam later today. Doors open at 6pm local time, which mean it’ll kick off at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST on June 17, and 2am AEST on June 18.
Admittedly, that doesn’t tell us the exact time for the trailer’s arrival — and, even though the listing indicates there’ll be a surprise finale at 10:15pm local time, I’d be amazed if the new teaser’s release is held back until then. After all, 1:15pm PT would be a strange time for a trailer launch…
But wait, there’s more. Per the film’s holding page on the website of UK cinema chain Odeon, tickets officially go on sale at 2pm BST, which means they’ll also be available to buy at 6am PT / 9am ET / 11pm AEST.
My best guess, then, is that the trailer will launch at the same time that ticket sales go live. To sum up, then, make sure you’re locked in to watch it on Wednesday, June 17 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 11pm AEST.
Where is Spider-Man?
Don’t worry, despite what this post’s title suggests, the iconic wallcrawler hasn’t gone missing. Nonetheless, you’ll be able to keep track of where and when he’ll appear in a city near you on the Spider-Man 4 world tour.
Indeed, once trailer #2 has been released, you’ll be able to visit spideytracker.net to find out what date(s) the Brand New Day press and fan tour will come to your neck of the woods. In fact, a post on the Spidey Tracker X/Twitter account has confirmed some of the places that Tom Holland, Zendaya, and company will visit as part of their globetrotting promo campaign, so we already have an idea of where they’ll show up.
Anyway, if you head over to the Spidey Tracker website now, you can watch a brief video from the site’s CEO and founder — a certain Ned Leeds — to learn more about the tour and get an insight into what other information will be available once the page is fully live. Hmm, I wonder who that secret villain is…
