- A screen size of 6.89 inches is predicted for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
- That just about matches the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
- We might get something unexpected in terms of this display
The leaks and rumors around the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra are starting to pile up, and a fresh leak may have revealed the screen size of the upcoming flagship – while also teasing some “surprises” that could be in store.
Well-known tipster @UniverseIce has gone on record as saying the Galaxy S26 Ultra will sport a 6.89-inch screen, which is just about identical to the 6.9-inch screen listed in the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
No change there then, but the same source says that the screen will bring some “surprises” with it, and employ some of “Samsung’s core display technologies” – so there might be other screen upgrades, even if the size stays the same.

We haven’t heard much else about the display of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but there has been talk that it’ll have a curvier design overall, with some of the more angular edges and corners rounded off for the 2026 model.
Some leaked renders have also appeared online, showing the standard model – which is expected to be renamed the Pro. The signs are that the Pro and Ultra will be joined by an Edge, with the Plus model left out next time around.
If Samsung sticks to its usual schedule, we’ll see these three premium phones arrive at some point in January. Before that, we’re expecting Samsung’s first tri-fold foldable phone to launch before the end of the month.
