Amazon Prime Video’s movie lineup is largely stagnant until early next week, when the first of the month arrives. Fortunately, Prime Video has a deep library of films to draw upon, including the very family-friendly film, Paddington 2, as well as an early Halloween present for horror fans: Drag Me to Hell.
Some of the other recent arrivals may play more broadly, including the ’80s-set comedy Everybody Wants Some!!, the bio-drama Collette, and DreamWorks Animation’s Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, which is a very well-made animated flick. But those are just a few options on our list of the best movies on Amazon Prime Video below. Remember to return every Friday morning, as we keep this list up-to-date with the latest films.
We’ve also put together guides to the best shows on Prime Video, the best movies on Hulu, the best movies on Netflix, the best new movies to stream, and the best movies on Disney+.
