- The Boys season 5 is set to premiere on April 8
- Prime Video says fans will be treated to “more goodies” in the near future
- An official trailer will be top of many people’s wishlists
We’re just over a month away from The Boys season 5 — at the time of publication, anyway — so it’s high time that Prime Video actively began to promote it, isn’t it?
Well, it appears this season’s marketing campaign is finally about to kick into gear. Indeed, in posts on The Boys‘ social channels to promote The Bluff, its new original film starring The Boys‘ Karl Urban, Prime Video teased that “more goodies are on their way.”
Ahoi.More S5 goodies are on their way, but in the meantime, The Bluff starring Captain Karl is on yer @PrimeVideo tubes now.Cheers, luvs pic.twitter.com/P3NnRHk578February 25, 2026
Okay, it’s not much, if anything, to go on. After all, the whole point of the post is to let fans of the Amazon TV Original know that Urban’s latest Prime Video project has made its bow on one of the world’s best streaming services.
Regardless, The Boys‘ fifth and final chapter is set to arrive on April 8. This hint that more so-called goodies are coming our way, then, means Prime Video is ready to really ramp things up ahead of launch. The big question now is: what will said “goodies” be?
What is Prime Video teasing about The Boys season 5?
It could be anything. New cast announcements, trips down memory lane as its cast and crew reminisce on the show’s success and legacy, and more besides.
Personally, though, I’m hoping we’ll get a full-blown trailer for The Boys‘ last hurrah. We’ve already been given a glimpse at the forthcoming eight-part installment via a teaser that landed online in December 2025. However, that was a mere aperitif to the main course that Amazon will serve up in early April, so an official trailer that highlights more of the grimdark, ultra-violent, and bleakly comedic story to come would be most welcome.
If a new trailer is released in the lead-up to launch, you can bet it won’t spoil any major character deaths. Okay, Urban has said “nobody” is safe from the chopping block in The Boys‘ fifth season, but such shocks will be held back for the main event.
