- Paradise season 3 has been confirmed
- The news was announced on social media via star, Sterling K. Brown
- It’s likely Paradise season 3 will be the final one, based on reports
Paradise season 3 is officially going ahead after Hulu (or Disney+ internationally) renewed the popular series. Considering it’s one of the best Hulu shows, the news brings great joy to me and other devoted fans.
Hulu hasn’t always made the best decisions, especially after the streamer’s recent decision to cancel the Buffy reboot series. But I can definitely get behind this one, and the news was announced by lead star Sterling K. Brown on the show’s official social media.
In the video, the star holds up a series of cards that read, “Knock knock. Paradise is full of secrets, so many secrets, that they can’t be contained to just 2 seasons.”

Thank God for that, eh?

The news comes ahead of the season 2 finale, which is set to drop on March 30. I’ve been on the edge of my seat all season, and there’s a reason that fellow streaming writer Jasmine Valentine called Paradise season 2 “the best TV show of 2026 so far” in her review.
Season 2 took us outside of the bunker as Agent Xavier Collins goes off in search of his wife, getting far more than he bargained for in the process. We’ve also had some crucial flashbacks that explore the buildup before the post-apocalyptic event. It’s been a worthy follow-up to season 1, which remains one of the best pieces of television I’ve ever watched.
However, there’s a very strong chance that Paradise season 3 will be our last time visiting the bunker and beyond, so this may come as bittersweet news to anyone hoping for a long-running show.
Paradise season 3 could be the final outing, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing
As much as I love Paradise, I wouldn’t want the series to outstay its welcome. Some of my favorite shows have been short and sweet, and it’s likely that a three season run will be enough here.
Creator Dan Fogelman doesn’t seem to want to go beyond season 3, so this early renewal could be the last for the post-apocalyptic show if he sticks to his plan.
As it stands, it seems like wrapping it up with a satisfying conclusion in season 3 is the perfect way to go. The show has been consistently good, and I have faith that it’ll continue to deliver.
