Week 6 of the NFL season began in the Pacific Northwest. On Thursday night, the San Francisco 49ers (3-3) picked up an important 36-24 win over division rival Seattle Seahawks (3-3). Brock Purdy threw for three touchdowns, while Isaac Guerendo and Jordan Mason combined for 172 rushing yards.

12 Week 6 NFL games will be played on October 13. The early window features the upstart Commanders taking on the Ravens, while the late window has the Lions playing the Cowboys. It took four weeks, but the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) finally won their first game in Week 5 over the Colts. Now, the Jaguars head to London, aka their home away from home.

Bears (3-2) quarterback Caleb Williams is starting to figure out NFL defenses. Williams completed 20 of 29 passes for 304 yards and two touchdowns in Chicago’s 36-10 win over the Panthers.

Jayden Daniels has been the most impressive player in the NFL. Through five weeks, the rookie has the Washington Commanders (4-1) off to their best start in years, sitting on top of the NFC East.

Don’t forget: Lamar Jackson is a two-time MVP. The Baltimore Ravens (3-2) quarterback threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-38 overtime victory over the Bengals.

Kyler Murray looked like his old self in Week 5. The Cardinals (2-3) quarterback threw for 195 yards and rushed for 83 yards in a 24-23 win over the 49ers.

With Jordan Love back in the lineup, the Green Bay Packers (3-2) picked up a 24-19 win over the Rams. Love threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns, while Josh Jacobs rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown.

The Houston Texans (4-1) registered a huge victory over the Bills in Week 5. However, it came at a cost, as star wide receiver Nico Collins injured his hamstring and will miss at least four weeks.

The New England Patriots (1-4) have lost four consecutive games. But there is hope in New England, as rookie quarterback Drake Maye will make his first start on Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2) did everything right in Week 5 except win. The offense gained 333 total yards, but the defense couldn’t stop a nosebleed and surrendered 550 yards in a 36-30 loss.

If losing in Week 5 weren’t bad enough, the New Orleans Saints (2-3) will now be without Derek Carr for the foreseeable future. Rookie Spencer Rattler will make his NFL debut under center on Sunday.

Things have gone from bad to worse for the Cleveland Browns (1-4). Deshaun Watson continues to play poorly at quarterback. Will Cleveland be brave enough to make a change?

The Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) had a bye in Week 5. Keep an eye on the status of Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. If things go south in Philadelphia, fans will want a new coach.

Tip your cap to Joe Flacco. The 39-year-old quarterback threw for 359 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough as the Indianapolis Colts (2-3) fell to the Jaguars 37-34.

The Tennessee Titans (1-3) had a bye in Week 5. The last time the Titans played, backup quarterback Mason Rudolph led the Titans to a 31-12 win over the Dolphins.

The Los Angeles Chargers (2-2) had a bye in Week 4. All eyes will be on Justin Herbert, who is still recovering from an ankle injury. If Herbert can’t play, look for Easton Stick or Taylor Heinicke to start.

After losing their first two games, the Denver Broncos (3-2) have won three straight games, including a 34-18 Week 5 win over the Raiders. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix continues to progress, throwing for 206 yards and two touchdowns last week.

After three wins to start the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) have lost two straight games, including a tough 20-17 loss to the Cowboys in Week 5. If the Steelers lose on Sunday, Russell Wilson could replace Justin Fields as the starting quarterback.

The Las Vegas Raiders (2-3) could not overcome the outside distractions in Week 5, falling to the Denver Broncos by a score of 34-18. The Raiders will change it up at quarterback, as Aidan O’Connell gets the start.

To quote Kirk Cousins: “You like that?” The Atlanta Falcons (3-2) quarterback was spectacular in Week 5, throwing for 509 yards and four touchdowns in a 36-30 overtime victory.

The Carolina Panthers (1-4) are fading fast. The Panthers’ defense allowed over 400 yards in a 36-10 loss to the Bears. Andy Dalton will start at quarterback for the third straight game.

The Detroit Lions (3-1) had a bye in Week 5. The last time Detroit played, quarterback Jared Goff completed 18 of 18 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-29 win over the Seahawks.

Don’t look now, but the Dallas Cowboys (3-2) have won two consecutive games, including a 20-17 win over the Steelers in Week 5. Jalen Tolbert shined in the victory with seven catches for 87 yards and one touchdown.

The Cincinnati Bengals (1-4) can’t catch a break. Joe Burrow threw for five touchdowns, and Ja’Marr Chase had 10 catches for 193 yards and two touchdowns. Yet the Bengals lost in Week 5, putting their playoff chances on life support.

The unlikeliest outcome of Week 5 belonged to the New York Giants (2-3), who pulled off an upset victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Even without their best offensive player, Malik Nabers, the Giants offense combined for 420 yards and 29 points.
