- Unofficial Galaxy S26 renders have leaked
- The Galaxy S26 Edge may get an iPhone 17 Pro-style look
- It seems the S26 Ultra is going to keep the S Pen
While all the buzz this week might be about the iPhone 17 that’s launching tomorrow, let’s not forget the next Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S26: fresh leaks may have revealed the design of these phones, and suggest that the S Pen stylus will be sticking around.
Renders posted by well-known tipster @OnLeaks and Android Headlines suggest that next year’s Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will be adopting a look that’s rather like the rumored iPhone 17 Pro, with a raised camera bar across the back of the casing.
Otherwise we can see the distinctive thin frame of the Edge, which is expected to be one of three Galaxy S26 phones appearing in January. The rumor is that the Plus model is going to be dropped in 2026, and that the standard model will get the Pro moniker.
More unofficial renders posted over at Smartprix show the S26 Pro, the S26 Edge, and the S26 Ultra, and match the first leak in terms of a raised camera bar on the Edge model. The other two get slightly elevated camera bumps, but on a much smaller scale.
The S Pen returns
It’s likely that all of these renderings come from supply chain information that’s being used in the production process. There’s a good chance that these will be the final S26 designs, though of course nothing is certain until it’s officially confirmed by Samsung.
Adding to the leaks we have the veteran tipster @UniverseIce apparently confirming that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is once again going to support the S Pen stylus – and that Samsung will still find room to include an integrated slot for it.
Given the curvier look that’s expected for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it wasn’t certain if there would still be room for the S Pen this time around – but it now looks as though stylus fans can rest easy about the feature being included.
If the rumors are true, we’ll get another Samsung event on Monday, September 29, where we’ll see the long-awaited launches of Samsung’s Android XR headset and tri-fold smartphone. After that, it should be a January launch for the Galaxy S26 series.
