At the time of writing, Netflix still hasn’t confirmed a release date for the return of Guy Ritchie series The Gentlemen season 2, and I’ve been keeping my fingers crossed for a late 2026 release.
It’s been two years since the dark comedy debuted on the streaming service, taking Ritchie’s hit movie of the same name and creating a new unhinged drama set in an identical world.

‘We’ve wrapped season 2… there are still tweaks to be done’

“We’ve done it,” James tells me. “We’ve wrapped season 2, doing cuts at the moment and there are still tweaks to be done. But it will be coming out in the fall [US].”
Result! Our release date window is confirmed, and I was on the money. Annoyingly, this could be any time between September-November, which Netflix likely won’t confirm until closer to the time.
My money is on October, or late September at the earliest — my guess is that Netflix will want it released with enough time to spare before Christmas.
But what can we expect? “It’s fun, and still funny. But it’s also darker, goes a little wild,” James continues.
If season 1 wasn’t “a little wild” already, I’m almost scared to think what’s in store for The Gentlemen season 2. Freddy’s (Daniel Ings) deranged chicken moment at the very beginning of season 1 is something I’ll never be able to get… so the challenge is well and truly on to top it.
