Apple Vision Pro and Meta VR Glasses both promise a large virtual workspace, but the hardware is built very differently. Vision Pro keeps most of its components in the headset, while Meta moves much of the processing and battery into a separate puck to keep the glasses lighter.
The bigger difference for buyers is availability and price. The M5 Vision Pro is already on sale for $3,499, while Meta VR Glasses are expected in spring 2027 for $1,299.99. So the choice is really between a more established device you can buy now and a much cheaper option that still needs broader real-world testing.
