To celebrate the upcoming release of Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil on September 18, I thought it would be fun to look back on some of the franchise’s previous movies with a quiz.
It’s important to note that Cregger’s take on Resident Evil will be different from what we’ve seen before. The new movie is considered to be a reboot and is set during alternate events of Resident Evil 2, centering on a medical courier named Bryan.
During an IGN trailer breakdown, Cregger explained: “This movie takes place alongside the events of Resident Evil 2. I like to think that everything going on inside the police station could be going on in this world; it’s just another dude, on another mission on the other side of town.”
