Famously known as crime lords, the Hutts appear to have crucial information that’ll allow the New Republic to keep tabs on the remnants of the Galactic Empire, which was apparently destroyed in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. As we know from Lucasfilm’s sequel film trilogy, that isn’t the case. Regardless, it’s clear that Din and Grogu get in over their heads during their latest quest. Cue another intergalactic adventure filled with the kind of high-stakes action and sci-fi sensibilities we’ve come to expect from that famous galaxy far, far away.

Pedro Pascal reprises his role as Din Djarin, aka the eponymous Mandalorian, in one of this year’s new movies. Joining him on the cast roster are Grogu as, well, himself and The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White, who’s set to voice Rotta the Hutt. After Sigourney Weaver joined The Mandalorian and Grogu in a mystery role in May 2024, we’ve since learned she’ll play a New Republic officer in the form of Colonel Ward, too.
