Poor old Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle). He can’t even plan to take a short sabbatical without things devolving into chaos before his eyes. Still, that’s what you get on the Fourth of July weekend, which is when The Pitt season 2 picks up.
Langdon (Patrick Ball) is busy trying to make amends for his season 1 sins, Mel (Taylor Dearden) is freaking out over an upcoming deposition, and new character Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi) is intent on changing how the E.R. department functions entirely.

The Pitt season 2 episode 2 drops on HBO Max on January 15, 2026, at 6pmPST/ 9pm EST. It’s going to have the same weekly schedule, so you’re tuning in for exactly the same time week on week.
Internationally, you’re looking out for these timings:
- US – 6pm PST / 9pm EST
- Canada – 6pm PST / 9pm EST
- India – 7:30am IST, January 16
- Singapore – 10am SGT, January 16
- Australia – 1pm AEDT, January 16
- New Zealand – 3pm NZDT, January 16
You’ll notice that I’ve not included the UK here, and that’s because HBO Max doesn’t launch in that territory until March 2026.
The Pitt hasn’t aired on NOW TV or Sky like other HBO shows such as The White Lotus and The Gilded Age, so you’ll have to wait until it does to binge both seasons.
